You can check the Enmotive site.

When is packet pickup/registration?

Packet pickup will be held the day before the race and on race day. The details are coming soon, so check back for the when and where.

Can someone else pick up my packet for me?

Yes! If someone is picking up your packet, please ensure they have either your confirmation email or a picture of your photo ID (a picture on your phone works great!).

Can I get a refund if I register but don't run?

All sales are final. No refunds will be given for reasons outside of the organizer’s control.

We also know that life can throw a curveball, because of that, it is highly recommended to sign up for the EnMotive Registration Protection Plan during the registration process.

Can I walk the 5k?

Yes! We simply ask that you obey the rules of the course and walk no more than two people abreast so that others may pass easily. Walkers will start at the same time as runners but must start at the back of the pack.

When do I line up for the start?

Please plan to line up in the start corral at 9:15a.m. The race starts at 9:30 a.m..

Are dogs allowed at the event?

No. We love dogs but, they are not allowed at the event.

Can I run with my baby stroller?

Yes! We simply ask that you start at the back of the pack for safety reasons.

What are the AWD (athletes with disabilities) guidelines and event rules?

Ventures Endurance happily welcomes all athletes to participate in our events. Athletes with Disabilities (AWD) include, but are not limited to the flowing athletes, Blade Runners, Visually Impaired Runners, Adaptive / Guided Runners, Pushed Athletes, Push Rim, Racing Chair and Hand Cycles. To participate as an AWD athlete you must notify the Race Director of your participation a minimum of 20 days in advance. This allows our staff to ensure the safety and security of each athlete on the course prepare the ES (early starters) corral for athletes. To ensure your spot and be approved as an AWD participant please contact awd@venturesendurance.com. Should there be a duo team, a coupon code may be provided for the pusher/coach by emailing awd@venturesendurance.com. Ventures Endurance Athletes with Disabilities Event Rules can be found here.

Are the roads closed during the event?

The course will not be closed to vehicle traffic but there will be runner lanes with cones, signs, Hampton Police, and race marshals directing traffic.

Where is the best place for spectators to watch?

The course is not particularly spectator-friendly as it is one big loop. The course isn’t closed to car traffic but we strongly discourage any cars on the course for the safety of our runners. If you do drive out to watch the race, you’ll most likely be stuck in runner traffic and not get back in time to see the finish, so we recommend staying in the festival area to see both the start and the finish. Friends and family can go to the after party, BUT they cannot have the beer/food unless they have a food/beer ticket purchased by a registered runner.

Can I run with headphones?

Because wearing headphones greatly reduces your ability to hear race marshals and car traffic, we strongly discourage their use on the course.

Are there awards for top winners?

Prizes are awarded to the top 3 men and women finishers overall and the top 3 men and women in the following age categories:

14 & under,
15-19,
20-29,
30-39,
40-49,
50-59,
60-69,
and
70+

The overall category will be scored using GUN time and the age group awards will be scored using CHIP time.

NEW THIS YEAR – All awards will be mailed after the event. If you qualify for an award, you will be notified via email within 1-2 business days.

Can I purchase food and beer at the post-race party?

Yes! You can purchase separate food and beer tickets during the event. Food tickets will be sold at the Information tent for $10. This will give you one ticket to choose from any of the three food trucks. Beer can be purchased in the beer tent.
